Amazing experience!
We had an incredible time in Kenya on our trip planned by Pamela. Everything was perfectly organized and it was a hassle and stress free experience. Pamela met us directly at our hotel in Nairobi with our driver Akbar, and he then took us to Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara over the span of 5 days. Akbar was extremely friendly and kind, and a true expert who showed us the most breathtaking wildlife and landscapes. He was patient and answered all our questions and was vey personable. Pamela coordinated all of our travel, hotel stays, and activities including a hot air balloon safari, and chartered flight to our next destination in Diane, and then she also pick us up at the Nairobi airport and gave us a tour guide in Nairobi, and drop us off at the airport to take our flight back home. We were vey impressed with her attention to detail, reliability, quick communication, and eagernesses to help. Before she planned our trip she asked about our budget, length of stay, and desired activities and was able to accommodate all we wanted in those areas and more. Pamela and her team managed the on-the-ground logistics for our group of about 40 visitors to Nairobi. Travel, meals, and hotel arrangements went smoothly and were well organized. Her drivers were excellent, friendly, and informative. We felt we were in very good hands the whole time. Our trip included several visits to the off-the-beaten-track Kibera Girls Soccer Academy as well as some of the more typical destinations like the Nairobi National Park. Magical visit to Kenya
I recently returned from a trip to Kenya that included both a portion organized by the KGSA Foundation to visit the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy, a girl's secondary school in Kibera, followed by a 4 day safari. Magical Retreat and Adventures handled all of our ground transportation for the KGSA portion of the trip, and did a fabulous job. Their drivers were excellent in addition to being very friendly and helpful. Following that portion of our trip, Peter, one of Pamela's long-standing employees, took two friends and I on a truly magical 4 day safari. Pamela handled all of the arrangements, which were excellent, and Peter was the consummate guide for our safari. Very friendly and knowledgable, we couldn't have asked for me. Pamela helped me plan a visit to Kenya for 40 KGSA supporters from the USA. She booked the hotel, arranged transportation to the school in Kibera and organized sightseeing in Nairobi and safaris for those that wanted to extend their trip. She also planned a beautiful reception for 250 people at the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy to launch the new dormitory that we were there to celebrate. Asante Sana Pamela. Excellent safari, great guides
Pamela’s crew did a great job to ensure an excellent experience for my party of 12. We went on a 5 day safari to Nakuru and Masai Mara in two vans with Peter and Moses as our guides. They have us an amazing experience and we were able to see the Big Five with plenty of other animals to boot. I appreciated their respect for the animals and compliance with the rules (no off road driving, keeping space between our vehicle and the animals, cars get thorough inspection between trips). The accommodations were good. We chose the mid range option and were satisfied. One of our vans broke down on the way back from Nairobi and Pamela sent another car to meet us along the way. She was genuinely concerned about our safety and making it back in time for our return flight. She met us on the road with gifts for everyone and offered profuse apologies.
